Hot air stripping for all requirements
The HAR hot air prototyping machine offers great flexibility. This machine can be used to produce prototype parts during the design phase and is therefore suitable for laboratories. It also allows for a wide variety of small-batch production runs, with simple programming accessible through the application developed by SEMO. Finally, when equipped with the appropriate tools, this same machine is capable of high-speed mass production.
The strengths of the HAR machine
The height controls for the rivets, the air temperature control and the force control allow for complete control of the process. This technology ensures that the two parts are pressed together.
The machine can be used to rivet either one rivet at a time or all rivets in parallel (up to 12 rivets). The tools are removable for very quick series changes. Finally, the machine's software allows riveting programmes to be created and managed independently.
Vision-based control of burling
SEMO also offers an optional pressfit vision control system. This option allows the diameter of the bushing to be checked once it has been formed, thereby verifying that it has been formed correctly.
The camera is directly integrated onto the machine's axes for inspection prior to any human intervention.
