Depending on the level of automation and desired production rates, SEMO offers automatic machines for high volumes or semi-automatic machines, either stand-alone or integrated into Lean Manufacturing. These machines can be built using the Crescendo modular platform.
SEMO integrates the technologies best suited to your needs. Simple and compact indexed rotary tables parallelise operations in a small space, with speeds of several dozen parts per minute. Magnetic conveyors with independent shuttles allow steps to be duplicated or tripled to increase speeds. Flexible pallet conveyors are suitable for varied flows and moderate speeds, offering great adaptability.

This technology is based on the mechanical and electronic synchronisation of high-speed movements. SEMO has expertise in the calculation, dimensioning and production of complex mechanical cams. It has recently been improved thanks to automation systems and ‘Motion’ axes. SEMO can provide real-time control of speed, torque or position and synchronise multiple high-dynamic axes.
It can handle high speeds for mass production or assembly, with hundreds of parts per minute. Continuous kinematics allows flexible products (wires, cables, metal strips, paper, cardboard, etc.) to be processed at high speed in complete safety.

Robotics-based architectures can meet high-speed requirements (dozens of products per minute) or more modest ones (a few products per minute). They can also be combined with machines to carry out certain processes or transfer parts.
