SEMO’s TF Feeder, long proven in the field, is capable of feeding any component packaged in tubes (or sticks), from large connectors to small relays. For very narrow relays, SEMO has developed a new solution that is both extremely simple and highly effective. The vertical tube feeder is unique… just like the benefits it brings to industrial production.
Ideal solution for very narrow relays
The TFV is based on vertical loading and unloading of tubes. Components simply slide by gravity from the tube to the feeder, which uses the proven TF feeder technologies to transfer and present the components to the placement machine.
The concept is highly innovative yet simple, making it extremely reliable. Narrow relays are transferred “flat” to the placement machine, eliminating any risk of tipping. This transfer ensures that the relay’s connection pins are never damaged.
Two components can be transferred simultaneously, ensuring a short cycle time.
The shortest feeders on the market
Of course, since the tubes are loaded vertically, the TFV feeder is extremely short: just 500 mm outside the table. No more bulky stick feeders!
Finally, the TFV offers the same advantages as SEMO’s renowned TF feeder. Loading full tubes and unloading empty ones can be done without affecting the operation of the feeder or the placement machine: no impact on production; your feeder keeps running.
